DIANA APPLEBY- B.S. in law, Certified EMT, CPR/AED Certified
Diana has worked with Dr. Baroody since July 2008 in every aspect of his office and has made it her personal goal to make sure each and every patient is given the specialized attention and care they deserve. Diana studied law in college and has her bachelor’s degree in Justice and Law Administration. In 2005, Diana took an interest in the medical field and became a certified emergency medical technician (EMT). After spending a year and a half working in the emergency department at Danbury Hospital, Diana was asked to join Dr. Baroody’s staff. Her first two years at Baroody Plastic Surgery were spent as Dr. Baroody’s medical assistant and cosmetic coordinator. In this role, Diana learned the ins and outs of plastic and reconstructive surgery through observing and assisting Dr. Baroody in the operating room and office setting. Diana has also immensely enjoyed helping Dr. Baroody open their new state of the art office on Kenosia
|

Avenue. In the beginning of 2010, she decided to take on more responsibility and transition
into an administrative role. Diana has embraced the title of practice manager, and has also
kept her responsibilities as Dr. Baroody’s cosmetic and surgical coordinator.
When interviewed, Diana said, “The things I enjoy most about working with Dr. Baroody are
the wide scope of plastic surgery procedures offered and the uniqueness of each patient.
Baroody Plastic Surgery is comprised of a mix of cosmetic and reconstructive patients. The
cosmetic patients are electing to have a procedure to enhance their appearance, or change
a physical attribute they are unhappy with. Everyone has insecurities, and it is very
gratifying to be able to help someone improve their self esteem and happiness with their
bodies. Treating patients with a medical ailment is also very rewarding. This group of
patients present to Dr. Baroody to reconstruct their form and function following cancer
surgery, traumatic injuries, birth defects, and the list goes on. I have learned so much from
Dr. Baroody’s bedside manner, as well as the intimacy and comfort each patient receives
because we are a solo physician practice. You are not just a name on a chart here, you are
a friend, and we take the time to ensure that our patients feel the confidence and support
needed to make an informed decision.”
